TIMMERMANS Triple Belgium Bottles
Timmermans is one of only a handful of traditional Lambic breweries from the outskirts of Brussels. Lambic beer has to be the most unusual beer family in the world: small breweries near Brussels maintaining a tradition for spontaneously fermenting wheat beers (no yeast is added), a process whereby micro organisms of the area enter the brew left in open vessels in dusty galleries overnight.
A strawberry lambic that is perfect to drink in summer. Timmermans has kept alive the tradition of the true lambic for over 300 years. The link below shows how you can cook with the beer
100% natural raspberry flavouring is added to the lambic. After the beer has matured for a while in oak barrels, it turns a delicate shade of pink. Timmermans Framboise is fairly dry and moreish.
Timmermans Kriek is a good quality, cherry lambic with an almondy dryness. Lambic is a type of beer traditionally brewed in the Pajottenland region of Belgium, near to Brussels. They are spontaneously fermented via wild, airborne yeast and are very rare. Best served between 4-6 degrees Celsius. It was awarded a bronze medal at the 2019 World Beer Awards for the category of “World’s Best Kriek”.
