Delivery Policy
Camerons Brewery
1. Introduction
Camerons Brewery is committed to ensuring that products purchased through our websites are delivered safely, securely and in accordance with applicable consumer protection and licensing legislation.
This Delivery and Shipping Policy explains our arrangements for processing and delivering orders, including the additional requirements applicable to alcoholic products.
This policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions of Sale, Age Verification Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy, where applicable.
2. Delivery Areas and Availability
Delivery services are available to eligible addresses within the geographical areas supported by Camerons Brewery and our appointed delivery partners.
Available delivery locations, shipping options and applicable charges will be displayed during the checkout process before an order is placed.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where delivery cannot reasonably or lawfully be fulfilled, including where restrictions imposed by our delivery partners or licensing requirements prevent delivery.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot fulfil, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
3. Delivery Charges and Timescales
Applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed at checkout before the customer confirms their order.
Estimated delivery timescales may be provided during checkout, in order confirmation communications or through delivery tracking information supplied by our appointed courier.
We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the indicated timescales. However, delays may occasionally arise due to availability, operational requirements, courier disruption, adverse weather or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a delivery date or period has been expressly agreed, we will comply with our applicable contractual and statutory obligations.
Where no delivery date or period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and, in any event, within 30 days of the contract being entered into, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Alcohol Sales and Age Restrictions
Alcoholic products are available only to persons aged 18 years or over.
By ordering alcoholic products from Camerons Brewery, customers confirm that they are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with our Age Verification Policy and Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Age-related restrictions are communicated on our websites and during the checkout process.
All deliveries containing alcoholic products are subject to appropriate age verification procedures, including checks carried out by our appointed courier or delivery personnel.
For full details, please refer to our Age Verification Policy.
5. Age Verification at Delivery
Our appointed delivery partners are instructed to apply appropriate age verification procedures before handing over alcoholic products.
The recipient must be aged 18 years or over and may be required to provide satisfactory photographic identification.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- A valid passport.
- A valid photocard driving licence.
- A recognised proof-of-age card bearing the PASS hologram.
Identification must be sufficient to establish the recipient’s age and identity in accordance with the courier’s approved verification procedures.
Where satisfactory age verification cannot be completed, alcoholic products will not be handed over.
Delivery personnel are authorised to refuse delivery where they cannot establish that the recipient is legally entitled to receive the products.
6. Delivery to the Recipient
Alcoholic products must be handed directly to an adult aged 18 or over who satisfies the applicable age verification requirements.
Accordingly:
- Alcoholic products must not be handed to anyone under 18.
- Alcoholic products must not be left unattended on doorsteps, in porches, in bins or in other unattended safe places.
- Delivery to a neighbour or alternative recipient is permitted only where authorised under our delivery arrangements and where the recipient satisfies the applicable age verification requirements.
- Customers should ensure that an eligible adult is available to accept the delivery.
The courier may request identification even where the order was successfully accepted and paid for online.
7. Unsuccessful or Refused Deliveries
A delivery may be unsuccessful or refused where:
- No eligible adult is available to receive the order.
- The recipient cannot provide satisfactory proof of age when requested.
- The courier reasonably believes that the recipient is under 18.
- The courier reasonably suspects that the alcohol is intended for supply to a person under 18.
- The delivery address is incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible.
- Delivery cannot safely or lawfully be completed.
Where delivery cannot be completed, the courier may arrange a further delivery attempt or return the goods to Camerons Brewery, subject to the courier’s procedures.
Customers should contact Camerons Brewery to discuss alternative delivery arrangements where applicable.
Where an unsuccessful delivery results from a customer’s failure to comply with the age verification or delivery requirements, reasonable additional delivery or return charges may apply, but only where these have been properly disclosed and are permitted under the Terms and Conditions of Sale and applicable law.
Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with the customer’s statutory rights and our applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale.
8. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.
If a customer identifies an error in their delivery details, they should contact Camerons Brewery as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes before dispatch. However, amendments may not be possible once an order has entered the delivery network.
Any additional charges arising from customer-requested changes will be communicated where applicable and subject to the customer’s agreement.
9. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Goods
We take reasonable care to ensure that orders are securely packaged and dispatched in good condition.
If products arrive damaged, are missing from the delivery or do not correspond with the order, customers should contact Camerons Brewery as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where possible, customers should provide:
- Their order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photographs of damaged goods or packaging, where relevant.
Customers are encouraged to retain damaged packaging and products until the matter has been reviewed, where reasonably possible and safe.
Camerons Brewery will investigate reported issues and arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund or another resolution in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in this policy limits the customer’s statutory consumer rights.
10. Responsibility for Goods During Delivery
Where Camerons Brewery arranges delivery, responsibility for the goods will generally remain with us until they come into the physical possession of the customer or a person identified by the customer to receive them.
The use of a third-party courier does not, of itself, transfer responsibility for goods in transit to the customer.
Different arrangements may apply where a customer independently appoints a carrier not offered by Camerons Brewery, as provided by applicable consumer legislation.
11. Delivery Delays and Non-Delivery
Where an order has not arrived within its expected delivery period, customers should contact Camerons Brewery so that we can investigate with the appointed delivery partner.
Where delivery is delayed, we will take appropriate steps to resolve the matter and communicate available options.
Any rights to cancel an order or obtain a refund because of delayed or failed delivery will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale, any applicable Returns and Refunds Policy, and relevant consumer protection legislation.
Where delivery is refused because the recipient is unable or unwilling to satisfy age verification requirements, the order will be reviewed in accordance with those terms and the customer’s statutory rights.
The refusal of delivery does not automatically remove any statutory right to cancel or receive a refund.
13. Customer Responsibilities
Customers ordering products from Camerons Brewery agree to:
- Provide accurate billing and delivery information.
- Ensure that a suitable person is available to accept delivery.
- Comply with the age verification requirements applicable to alcoholic products.
- Provide satisfactory proof of age when requested.
- Notify us promptly of any delivery problems.
- Avoid purchasing alcoholic products on behalf of anyone under 18.
14. Contacting Us

15. Changes to This Policy
Camerons Brewery may update this Delivery and Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in delivery arrangements, business operations or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to an order will be the version in effect when the relevant contract was entered into, subject to applicable law and any changes agreed with the customer.
Important: All alcohol deliveries remain subject to our Age Verification Policy. Alcohol will not be handed over unless the applicable age verification requirements have been satisfied.
